Multiple Businesses in Multiple Marketplaces

The problem:

Returns Handling

The problem:

Returns are inevitable, a necessary evil. But managing returns and the subsequent inventory problems create reconciliation trouble in your warehouses. You never know the true status of returns (especially at Amazon FBA).

The Solution:

SimOneEMS will track and synchronize your inventory across all of your warehouses including your vendors’ warehouses for dropshipped orders. SimOneEMS will also provide the true status of a return – damaged, in transit, lost, etc. so you can constantly have a true snapshot of your inventory. Ship Saver

The problem:

For every order, consider the amount of manual labour that can be involved in answering the question “What is the fastest and least expensive way to ship a package?”

The Solution:

Exclusively for SimOneEMS clients, our “Ship Saver” feature automates the whole effort of answering that question. Ship Saver considers where the package needs to go, the closest warehouse, the amount the client paid for shipping and the least expensive rate—domestically and internationally. SimOneEMS interfaces to all the major shipping carriers—UPS, FedEx, USPS, & DHL—and all will be considered. From one Shipping Manager screen, your staff may override the defaults you have defined to “Ship Saver”.
“Ship Saver” has saved many of our clients thousands of dollars a month – another reason SimOneEMS realizes a very quick ROI.

Shipping Refunds

The problem:

You ship every day and probably use 2 or 3 shipping companies. You have no staff to reconcile if very shipment 1) arrived, 2) arrived on time 3) was properly invoiced, etc. You are likely losing thousands of dollars in shipping refunds due you.

The Solution:

SimOneEMS has an integrated Shipping Refunds module. In the one-time point SimOneEMS to your records for every shipper you use – FedEx, UPS or USPS and SimOneEMS will automatically audit every shipment and confirm every shipment 1) arrived, 2) arrived on time 3) was properly charged, etc. When, not if, there are discrepancies SimOneEMS will recoup the refunds due you and deposit them in the bank account you have specified. Mass Shipping

The problem:

You have 77 of the same unit that HAVE TO ship out in the next 3 hours, have 77 individual shipping requests to process.

The Solution:

Batch ship these 77 units. A huge time savings! Tell SimOneEMS when you want orders processed and at the scheduled time, SimOneEMS will create all the labels, packing slips and BOLs needed for each shipment.

Virtual Warehousing

The problem:

You have inventory in numerous places – your warehouses, with vendors (some even prepaid?) and with marketplaces like Amazon FBA. Coordinating inventory is at least a problem, if not impossible.

The Solution:

SimOneEMS will report on the exact location and track the true status of each product including “prepaids” sitting at a vendor partner and returns (see Returns Handling above). Now that you now know where all your products reside and their status, SimOneEMS can use that current inventory data to decide what is the least costly and most expeditious place to ship from and which carrier to use from that location (see Ship Saver below).

Product Variations

The problem:

If you offer Product Variations it is virtually impossible to keep track of prices, repricing and inventory for your “Child” items. Creating and managing listings are problematic as well.

The Solution:

SimOneEMS will assure accurate quantities and prices for variation items - on all marketplaces. The children in variation listings are unique items with their own SKUs so all prices and quantities can be kept separate and accurate. Your orders will contain the SKU of the actual child item ordered.
SimOneEMS will easily create and manage your variation style listings. When tagging onto existing variation listings, our system uses the UPC or ASIN to put your child items on the correct listings. Each child item can also be independently auto-repriced by SimOneEMS.
SimOneEMS supports all of the variation options offered in Amazon variation listings.
eBay variation style listings are fully supported. It’s easy to launch listings with multiple drop-down menus such as color variations. Edit your live listings and/or add more children to them later.

eBay Marketplace

The problem:

Tracking every financial transaction occurring in your Order Management System can be stifling and error prone if left to manual methods.

The Solution:

SimOneEMS’ accounting module centralizes every transaction occurring in SimOneEMS in order to produce the reports you need – now and by period. SimOneEMS will manage your vendor accounts, sale accounts, payment accounts, shipping accounts, returns and much more.
All data is collected and formatted for easy exporting to sophisticated accounting systems like QuickBooks or any other system that will read a standardized CSV file.

Temporal Data / Auditing

The problem:

Things change rapidly, but you need to know where everything stands – right now. Amazon FBA does not give you the true inventory status – it is not real time nor is it accurate. Has that return been received? What is my true inventory status – in-house? With vendors? In virtual warehouses? Has an order been drop shipped by our vendor? Has the refund been issued?

The Solution:

Not having the correct data makes it impossible to make business decisions quickly. Software that does not offer you temporal data is providing you with incorrect data and, therefore, faulty decision making. Temporal Data allows you to learn the true status of your orders, returns and inventory at any point in time.
SimOneEMS uses Temporal Data to reliably reflect your true inventory. By viewing inventory status and using temporal data SimOneEMS can reveal the real-time status of a product – returned, lost, damaged, in transit, etc.
